Best Coffee Rockwall TX

From giving you an extra jolt of energy during a long workday, to helping you relax on your mid-day break, there’s nothing a warm mug of coffee can’t accomplish. Luckily, for us here in the Rockwall area, we have plenty of wonderful coffee places to pick from.

Here are three of our favorites.

1418 Coffeehouse | Facebook

When you visit 1418 Coffeehouse, you’re home. With an emphasis on coffee, community, and compassion, they serve up Oak Cliff Coffee, whose roasters are committed to putting out good vibes through mostly Direct Trade coffees.

They brew a varied menu of locally roasted coffee, including single-origin espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and Toddy cold brew coffee. If you’re not a coffee drinker, you can also try their iced chai tea latte.

Feeling hungry? Order a sandwich made in-house or sample one of their local handmade pies (free of artificial preservatives, hydrogenated oils, dyes, and corn syrup).

fILTER(ed) | Facebook

fILTER(ed) is a craft coffee and culture house that’s turned the experience of getting coffee into a lifestyle. They deliver classic coffee creations using a variety of local and international brew methods.

Stay a while and enjoy their collaborative community studio where local artists can come together to work on whatever inspires them while listening to local music. The goal is to create an environment of artistic growth, fulfillment, and personal enjoyment.

With a 40-foot brew bar serving coffee, loose leaf teas, and Italian sodas, plus their fILTER(ed) eATS that include house crafted items with gluten-free and vegan options, you’re sure to leave feeling nourished in your mind, body, and soul.

Wattage Coffee Co. | Facebook

Wattage Coffee Co. is a family-owned and community-operated coffee house that’s sure to get your wheels spinning. Why? Because it’s located inside the Cadence Cyclery of McKinney bicycle shop!

As a family-owned business, they have a strong sense of community and offer a relaxing place to sit and work or catch up with a friend you haven’t see in a while. They serve beans from AVOCA, a Texas-based roaster, which they use to craft their European Style coffee beverages.

We recommend their Cuban coffee (sweet cream, vanilla, espresso, and milk) and one of their fresh pastries from Ogi’s European Bakery and Deli.

Sip Back and Relax

If you’re on the hunt for some high-quality coffee and an inviting atmosphere, you’ll be happy when you walk through the doors of any of these Rockwall area coffee shops. It’s about time for your coffee break, so go ahead and check them out now!
