2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Review
With the world going greener by the day, Ford has decided to follow suit. That’s why there’s now a line of all-electric vehicles available for those who want to help lead the way. One such Ford vehicle is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E.
The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E draws inspiration from the muscle car with a similar name but gives you electric power and the space of an SUV. It’s a great choice for the roads of Rockwall, Mesquite, and Garland, Texas, and we at Rockwall Ford will show you why. Take a look below!
Electric Sporty Performance
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is a powerful SUV with two battery options to choose from—a standard range battery and an extended range battery.
The standard range battery kicks things off with 266 horsepower with the option of rear-wheel drive or electric all-wheel drive. You’ll get 317 lb-ft of torque with RWD, or with eAWD, 428 lb-ft of torque. The Mustang Mach-E has an EPA-estimated range of 247 miles when you fully charge the standard range battery.
The extended range battery is available for the second trim level and up. You’ll get a good boost of power, hitting a maximum of 346 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque with eAWD. The extended range battery also has a longer range—an EPA-estimated 314 miles per full charge.
Inside the Mustang Mach-E
The Mustang Mach-E doesn’t skimp on interior comforts and technology.
Starting at the first trim level, you can enjoy a standard SYNC 4A infotainment system with enhanced voice recognition, built-in navigation, and a 15.5-inch touchscreen. Standard speed-compensated volume control means you can always hear your directions, podcast, or favorite tune, whether you’re going 25 MPH or 50 MPH.
The five seats of the Mustang Mach-E are covered in standard ActiveX™ Black Onyx material with the option of additional colors like:
- Light Space Gray
- Black Onyx with ST-Red Line Stitching
- Black Onyx with Grabber Blue Stitching
Driver’s-seat and side view memory is available with a technology package. This lets you save your driving position and mirrors, so even if someone else drives your Mustang Mach-E, you’ll never lose that position.
Safe While on the Go
The Mustang Mach-E has a mix of technology and non-tech safety features. Many of the tech features belong to the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Technology suite. These systems watch out for potential accidents, accidental drifting and even aid in parking so you can drive confidently.
Standard Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking keeps an eye on the road ahead for potential collisions with other vehicles or pedestrians. Your SUV will warn you if one is detected and apply the brakes.
Wish you had a way to keep an eye on your blind spots? The standard BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert system can help. This system checks your blind spots for vehicles, whether you’re on the highway or pulling out of a parking space or driveway.
