Engine Power

The Ford F-250 has three engines for you to choose from with a range of power options, so you can get exactly what you need out of this truck.

The standard engine under the hood of the F-250 is a 6.2L Flex Fuel V8 gas engine that produces 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. You’ll get a standard TorqShift® G 6-speed automatic transmission with this engine.

If you’re looking for a gas engine with a bit more power, the available 7.3L V8 engine is the engine to choose. The 7.3L engine generates 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.

The most powerful engine option in terms of torque and horsepower is the available diesel engine option for the F-250. The 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel engine puts out an impressive 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque.

Both of these available engines work with a Torqshift® 10-speed automatic transmission with five drive modes.

Towing and Payload Capacity

With the name Super Duty, you know that the Ford F-250 can tow quite a lot. When properly equipped, the F-250 has a maximum towing capacity of 22,800 pounds. This much towing capacity allows you to tow construction equipment, multicar trailers, and more.

The Ford F-250’s payload is equally impressive just like its towing capacity. The maximum payload capacity of the truck comes to a total of 4,260 pounds when properly equipped.

To help you load your F-250, the truck has an available tailgate step. Flip the step out from your tailgate and make it easier to step in and out of your truck bed while you load.

Tech Features

The F-250 has many tech features inside and outside the cabin.
